One of the simplest tips I can give before any nutritional counseling or meal planning advice, is to EAT LESS. That’s right, simply start cutting back on your portions. This pandemic has statistically increased obesity and overeating on a global level. People’s paranoia about hoarding food has led to overconsumption. This overconsumption is absolutely ridiculous and people need to stop using this pandemic as an excuse to eat more! Start cutting down your portions and eat less. Drink more water instead as I mentioned earlier – go back and READ my blog post on “Benefits of Drinking Lemon Water.”

Fill your plate up with GREEN foods. The GREENER the better. More vitamins and minerals are jammed packed into your leafy green and cruciferous veggies.
